Youth ALIVE!
Welcome to the youth page of Hillsdale Baptist Church.
The youth of HBC is made up of students from 6-12 grades. They meet three times weekly on Sunday AM, PM and Wednesday PM. These gatherings are used to focus the students on the Truth found in the Bible and applications of those Truths in their daily walk. Other events are planned throughout the year to provide more chances to grow closer to God and each other. Students are also encouraged to fellowship with one another and hold each other accountable.
The student population of HBC is made up of students from different schools and school systems. All students are welcome at HBC. If you interested in coming to check this group out, don't hesitate and get in touch with the church.

Youth Alive and Kickin' in the AM (Sunday Morning Youth)
"The reality is that following the rules will never make God love us more. In fact, when you try to live them out, you begin to see just how much you need Him. With God, the relationship always precedes the rules. Always!!!" - Andy Stanley
Over the next several weeks the youth will be exploring through large group lesson and small group discussion the Being behind the rules. They also will be starting each session with a worship setting. Come check it out.

Jump the Hump! (Wednesday PM Youth)
As the youth meets on Wednesday for the six weeks they will be answering the following question:
"Do your really believe Jesus is worth following?"
In this study, entitled "Beginning in Jesus", looks at the different aspects of Jesus' personality and deity.

Week 3: Jesus: The Shepherd
Week 4: Jesus: The Servant
Week 5: Jesus: The Savior
Week 6: Jesus: The Risen Lord

The biggest news is for families to finalize if your kid is going to camp or not. Also we need some parents to help spear-head a youth luncheon on Sunday, June 3. Contact Jason if you are interested in helping out.
There will be no Youth-Team meeting this month (May).

Global Youth Camp (Summer)
Mark your calendars for July 9-13 as this year's Summer Camp trip to Global Youth Ministries. The youth will be traveling to Black Mountain, NC to the Blue Ridge YMCA conference center. This is like no other summer camp out there and each year yields significant spiritual growth and renewal for the youth.
Basic information:
$50.00 deposit is due now to secure a spot. (There are a few spaces left)
$255.00 will be the total cost of the trip due by June 17.
Fundraisers and other means to raise money are out there but if you have any questions please talk with Jason ASAP.
This year the goal is to take more than 30 kids to camp. Are you in???
