Our History

Hillsdale Baptist Church grew out of a Bible Study which began in June, 1994 in the Hillsdale community.  Calvary Baptist Church became the primary sponsor of the new mission with additional support from Ardmore and Advance Baptist Churches and the North Carolina Baptist State Convention.  In December, 1994, the first public service was held in what was affectionately referred to as the "NAPA Cathedral" - a converted NAPA Auto Parts store, with R.T. (Reg) Alderman as the founding pastor.  The current facility was completed and occupied in October of 2000.
